Life Strategy is a Mac planning app developed by James Kerr. This notice describes the invited beta and these app information pages. Questions or requests: [email protected].
What the app reads
You choose a local workspace and any source files to connect. The app reads those planning files and can append check-ins you submit or authorise an agent to record.
With your consent, Google sign-in supplies your account identity and email address. Read-only Calendar access supplies your calendar list and events from the calendars you select, including event names, times, relevant attendance and recurrence details, descriptions and source links used to match commitments. This supports availability checks and preparation planning.
Read-only Todoist access supplies your account identity, tasks assigned to you or unassigned, their due dates, deadlines, recurrence information and available completion records. This supports planning remaining work. Life Strategy does not edit provider tasks or calendar events.
Where information goes
The app contacts Google and Todoist directly to sign in, renew access and read the sources you connect. Tokens are stored in macOS Keychain; they are not included in planning files, browser code or app logs. Planning files, connection settings and cached evidence remain on your Mac. Your own backup or synchronisation services may copy files according to your settings.
Life Strategy does not send your workspace to a developer-operated planning server. It has no app telemetry, advertising or built-in hosted AI service. James does not receive your workspace merely because you use the app.
Optional agent access
You may approve a local agent client to read and refresh planning context and append check-ins you report. Access is limited to the selected workspace and the permissions you approve. An agent client can send retrieved context to its configured AI provider. Review that client’s data-sharing and training settings before granting access; Life Strategy does not control that separate service.
Life Strategy uses Google data only for the planning features you request. It does not sell that data, use it for advertising or use it to train general-purpose AI models. Its handling of Google data follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Retention and your controls
Live evidence is reused for no more than 15 minutes before refresh is required. An older local snapshot may be retained and clearly marked stale if a provider cannot be reached; the 15-minute freshness period is not a deletion period.
You can remove connections from planning settings to stop including them, revoke Life Strategy in your Google account connections or Todoist integrations, and revoke local agent access in the app. Revoking access does not erase existing local files or snapshots.
You control retention of your local workspace and backups. To remove saved app data completely, delete the relevant workspace files and cached evidence from your Mac and remove the associated Life Strategy entries in macOS Keychain. Contact James if you need help identifying these items.
Support and this website
If you contact James, the information you send is used to respond and investigate your request. Share only the details needed; any screenshots or diagnostics you choose to send may contain your planning information.
These Life Strategy information pages do not load analytics scripts or set tracking cookies. Cloudflare hosts the website and processes normal connection information, such as your IP address and request details, to deliver and protect it. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy. Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal information, object to certain processing or complain to a data protection authority. Contact James about information he holds; use your local files and provider controls for data stored with those services. Material changes to this notice will be dated here and communicated to beta participants before new data uses begin.
